Cows here from all over the city, taken in and cared for if the owners can't be found. Animals are kept well and treated very well with hospital sections for the ill and a birthing section too. Amazing to see so many animals in one place and lovely to see the care shown. Be warned this place is hidden in a warren of streets that fortunately for us our guide navigated with no problem. Perhaps a little off the usual tourist track for sights but very much worth a visit

Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus:छत्रपती शिवाजी टर्मिनस is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an historic railway station in Mumbai Maharashtra, India which serves as the headquarters of the Central Railways.

Right on the busy JJ Road, opposite JJ hospital, I never imagined what this old building contain. Accompanied by a Jew friend from out-of-town, made me realise that this almost 150 year old building has fully functional beautiful synagogue. The interiors are simply artistic. The trust has been offering accommodation and meals to Jew visitors free, or with small nominal donation. Great place indeed.

Girgaon Chaupati', commonly known as just Chaupati, is one of the most famous public beaches adjoining Marine Drive in the Girgaon area of Mumbai, India

Marine Drive is a 4.3-kilometre-long boulevard in South Mumbai in the city of Mumbai. It is a 'C'-shaped six-lane concrete road along the coast, which is a natural bay. The road links Nariman Point to Babulnath and Malabar Hill. Marine Drive is situated over reclaimed land facing west-south-west. A promenade lies parallel to this road. Marine Drive is also known as the Queen's Necklace because, if viewed at night from an elevated point anywhere along the drive, the street lights resemble a string of pearls in a necklace. In 2012, the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai announced that the entire road would be resurfaced, 72 years after it was originally laid.

The Wankhede Stadium is a cricket stadium in the Indian city of Mumbai. The stadium now has capacity of 32,000, following renovations for the 2011 Cricket World Cup. Before the upgrade, the capacity was approximately 45,000.

Considering it as one of the finest instances of modern amenities and technical aspects infused in the architectural heritage it definitely deserves to be regarded as greatest landmarks of Mumbai.

The main and largest cricket stadium in Mumbai is Wankhede Stadium named after Sri S.K Wankhede. The stadium was opened in 1974 and since then all important games are held in this stadium in preference to Mumbai's own and old Brabourn stadium. It is situated in South Mumbai and is close to Churchgate, another famous railway station in Mumbai. The stadium has a capacity for more than 45,000 viewers

located at # 19, Laburnum Road in the Gamdevi precinct of downtown Mumbai, acted as the focal point of Gandhi's political activities in Mumbai between 1917 and 1934. The mansion belonged to Revashankar Jagjeevan Jhaveri, Gandhi's friend and host in Mumbai during this period.
